One of our clients, Leucadia Wastewater District (LWD), used to host tours of their treatment plant to groups, associations and classrooms of all sizes. To observe COVID-19 health regulations, the District has paused in-person tours.
As a result, we created this virtual tour to help educate the community and build advocacy from the comfort of your own home.
Check out the tour below, where we show you how the team keeps sewer operations running 24 hours a day! This video explains how pump stations work right below our streets, how they recycle water to be reused to irrigate a local golf course, and highlight the team that makes it happen.
